DONELLE, AUDREY JEAN - 1930-2009 - The death of Audrey Jean (Wilson) Donelle, widow of Raymond, of Church Street, Moncton occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, November 15th, 2009 after a period of failing health. Born in Moncton, July 19th 1930, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary (Gallant) Wilson. A homemaker, Audrey enjoyed knitting, reading, a good cup of tea, chocolate chip cookies and her time at Cassie Cape. She had been a Brownie Leader and a member of the CWL and the Golden Age Club. In their retirement years, she and Raymond enjoyed travel and camping. Her greatest pleasure came from being a wife, mother and grandmother. Audrey is survived by her daughter Mary Sue Strickland (Russell) of Moncton; her sons Michael (Wanda) of Windsor, NS and David (Bernadette) of Moncton; her grandchildren Stephanie Fearon (Jesse), Denise Belzile, Mallory Belzile, Monica Donelle (Graham Driscoll), Stephen Donelle, Ryan Donelle (Crystal Jamieson), Jennifer Donelle; special aunt and good friend Verna Cormier and several aunts, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. In addition to her husband Raymond of 55 years, she was predeceased by her parents and two brothers Earl and Ralph. The family would like to thank the staff of The Moncton Hospital for the excellent care provided to their mother and grandmother. Resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street, Moncton with visiting hours on Wednesday, November 18th from 7 to 9 pm; a funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 19th at 11 am in Cadman Bowness Funeral Home followed by a reception in the Family Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairhaven Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Audrey\'s name made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
