MACINNIS, KATHLEEN (KATHY) ANNE - Kathleen (Kathy) Anne MacInnis passed away Friday, Nov.13, 2009 at the St. James Cottage House Hospice in Vancouver, BC, at the age of 54. She was the daughter of the late Angus (Gus) and Connie MacInnis of Moncton, NB. Kathy attended Harrison Trimble High School in Moncton and Concordia University in Montreal, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She'd worked at the Mendel Art Gallery in Saskatoon, SK, volunteered at the Vancouver Art Gallery and worked at the Bau Xi Gallery and Crown Wallpaper in Vancouver, BC. Most recently she worked at Tritex Fabrics in Vancouver where she was the Showroom Manager. She is survived by her husband Daniel J. McCrimmon, Vancouver; sister Susan MacInnis, Ottawa; brother Peter (Lucy) MacInnis, Riverview, NB, nieces, nephew, great niece and nephews and many friends. Kathy was a kind, gentle and loving woman who will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial celebration of her life will take place at Barclay Manor, 1447 Barclay St., Vancouver on Wednesday, Nov 25, 2009 at 6 pm. Internment of her ashes will take place in Moncton, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cottage House Hospice of the St. James Community Services Society, 329 Powell St., Vancouver, BC V6A 1G5 would be appreciated.
