YEOMANS, GORDON - of Moncton passed away Monday November 16, 2009 at the Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home. Born in Church Hill, NB on December 4, 1932, he was the son of the late William and Marguerite (Geldart) Yeomans. Gordon was a member of Mountain View United Church, he was a Meteorological Technician, having worked in Sable Island, Goose Bay and finally in Moncton prior to his retirement. Gordon will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jean (Taylor) Yeomans, daughter; Evelyn Clark (John) of Woodstock, son; Darrell (Kathleen) of Moncton, sisters; Amy Yeomans, Fredericton, Gloria Ryan (Edmund), Ajax, ON, brother Austin Yeomans (Marilyn), Penobsquis, four grandchildren; Jennifer Filsinger (Ryan), Erin Yeomans, Matthew and Nathan Clark, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Beaman. The family will receive friends and visitors at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview, NB, (869-2007), on Thursday, November 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, the funeral service will be held from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Friday November 20 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charlotte Youland officiating. The interment will take place at the New Elgin Cemetery. Donations to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
