DICKSON, KATHLEEN E. (CASS) - 1925-2009 - Miramichi - Kathleen Eva (Cass) Dickson, wife of Alvin H. Dickson, of the South Napan Road, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday evening, November 24, 2009, at the age of 84. Born in Napan Bay, on January 21, 1925, She was the daughter of the late John and Nina (Taylor) MacInnis. She was a homemaker and a Christian, by Faith. She is survived by her husband, Alvin; two daughters, Carolyn Taylor ( Ron), of Keswick and Marlene Dickson, of Burnaby, B.C.; one son, Hugh Dickson (Colleen), of Napan; one sister, Edna Dickson, of Napan; one brother, Milton MacInnis (Betty), of Miramichi; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Omar Dickson; five sisters, Rose Barnes, Stella McKnight, Bessie Gilliss, Mildred Dickson, Lylla and Emma MacInnis; three brothers, Leonard, Leigh and Bryden MacInnis. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Friday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Stephen MacDonald farm, located at 112 North Napan Road, on Saturday, November 28, 2009, at 1 pm, conducted by Gladys Dickson, James Abbott and Wayne Hutchinson. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
