ARSENAULT, JOSEPH LOUIS - The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday, November 28, 2009 of Joseph Louis (Lou) Arsenault, dear husband of Evelyn (nee Villeneuve) of St. Chrysostome at the age of 80 years. He was the son of the late Victorin and Eufrida (nee Gaudet) Arsenault. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by cherished sons and daughter Eric (Francine), Clement (Joanne), Lynn (late Richard), and Luc (Michelle); ten grandchildren; and brothers and sisters Lucia, Ned, Marie, Placide, Jacqueline and Antoinette. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers and sisters Leona, Edgar, Leonard, Irene, Raymond, and Regis; and in-laws Raouland Hermence (Girard). He was a member of Armed Forces Veterans Association. He served with Canadian Armed Forces for 25 years. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Wednesday, then to St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church in Egmont Bay for funeral assembly at 11:00 am. Visitation shall be received on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 am until time of funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Entombment will be in the church cemetery.
