77, Sydney Eileen M. Henderson, 77 of Kings Road, passed away Wednesday, Dec.10, 2008 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Vassallo) Kenney. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima parish, Sydney River. Eileen was educated in Cape Breton and Montreal. She was employed in the teaching profession for many years at Sydney Academy as a French teacher and in administration, retiring in 1990. Eileen will be remembered for her very generous personality. She is survived by sisters, Jean (Joe) Bernier and Mrs. Chris Crouse, both of Sydney. She was predeceased by a sister, Catherine 'Kitty' and by several brothers. There will be no visitation for the late Eileen Henderson. A funeral service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Sydney Academy Fund.
