RITA CORMIER
CORMIER, RITA - 1918 - 2009 - Rita Cormier 91, of Saint-Antoine, wife of the late Alfred Cormier (1980) has passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, December 6th, 2009. Born in Bouctouche on November 15, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Alfred T. and the late Sara (Dionne) Cormier. Rita was a retired school teacher, she has taught many years in Kent Co. She was a member of the Saint-Antoine Golden Age Club, and a member of the SERF du Cercle Edgar Poirier. She will be sadly missed by her four children, Adrienne Langis (Theodore) of Renaud's Mill, Gilles (Gilberte) of McKees Mill, Maurice (Raymonde) of Saint-Antoine and Georges (Roseline) of Dieppe, eight grandchildren, Stephane, Mathieu, Michelle, Pierre, Martin, Brigitte, Luc and Josée six great grandchildren,two sisters, Jeanne Cormier and Thérèse Girouard both of Saint-Antoine, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Jean-Yves, two sister, Stella and Irène and two brothers, Aquila and Edgar. Visitation will be held at the Saint- Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Monday from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Antoine Church on Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Rita's memory donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Foyer Saint- Antoine.
