RICHARD, ERIC - Eric Richard, 81, of Haute Aboujagane passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born October 27, 1928 in Haute- Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Alderic and Agnes (Cormier) Richard. Eric was a school bus driver with District #13 prior to his retirement. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years, Léoline (Richard) Richard; one daughter Françine LeBlanc (Valeri) of Saint-André-LeBlanc; three sons: Normand, Françis and Lionel all of Haute-Aboujagane; four sisters: Émerise Porelle, Dorilla Dallaire (Aubré), Huberte Bourque (Normand) and Florence LeBlanc all of Haute-Aboujagane; four brothers: Norbert Richard (Florence), Yvon Richard (Adelesa) and Arthur Richard (Alice) all of Haute-Aboujagane and Ulysse Richard (Catherine) of Grand-Barachois; two grandchildren: Yves and Julie and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother Adrice Richard and three sisters: Lucie Boudreau, Yvonne Léger and Rose LeBlanc. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visiting hours. Funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haute-Aboujagane. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. If so desired, donations to the cardiac unit of the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital would be appreciated.
