UPHAM, MURIEL B. - Muriel B. Upham, 75, of Dieppe, with her family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, December 13, 2009. Born in Harrisville, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Hyslop) Maxwell. Muriel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and was a member of Dover Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Muriel will be sadly missed by her husband of 57 years, Elmer L. Upham; children, Linda Gore (Larry), Greensboro, NC, Brian Upham (Debbie), Lakeville, Westmorland Co., Sue Upham (Joanne), Riverview; grandsons, Thomas and Todd Upham; brothers, Ernest Maxwell (Dorothy), Dieppe, Rev. Arthur Maxwell (Sherry), Sussex; sisters, Marie MacLennan (Owen), Moncton, Ruby Tower (late Les Stokes), Moncton, Gertrude Collin (Robert), Montreal, Elena Groundwater (late Raymond), Moncton, Lillian Lewis (late Paul), Petitcodiac, Sandra Thorne (Blaine), Havelock; sister-in-law, Eileen Edgett (late Ron), Riverview; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Muriel's wishes, there will be no visitation hours. Celebration of Life Service for Muriel will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, December 17, 2009, 1:30 pm, Rev.
