TAYLOR, HELEN E. - Helen E. Taylor, 85, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, December 17, 2009. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion (Keith) Buck. Helen was a retired secretary for Dr. Fred Murphy, a member of Lewisville Baptist Church, the Keenagers Seniors Group and a former Sunday School teacher. She was a Veteran of WWII, having served with the CWAC (1942-1945). Helen enjoyed cross stitch, crossword puzzles, reading, walking, time spent with her husband in Florida, serving her Church and spending special time with her family and friends. Helen will be sadly missed by her husband of 64 years, Claude M. Taylor; daughters, Susan McConnell (Robert), Stratford, PE, Cathy Mills (Norman), Dieppe; sons, Martin (Diane), Montague, PE, Stuart (Penny), Sussex, Chris (Jacqueline), Shediac Bridge; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Frances and Adrienne; brother, Frank. In keeping with Helen's wishes, there will be no visitation. Celebration of Life Service for Helen to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Monday, December 21, 2009, 11:00 am, Rev. Gordon MacLeod officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. In Helen's memory, donations to Lewisville Baptist Church Building Fund or a memorial of choice would be appreciated.
