
JEANNINE CORMIER
CORMIER, JEANNINE - 1929 - 2009 - Jeannine Cormier, 80, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Friday, December 18th, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fidèle and the late Yvonne (née: LeBlanc) Melanson. Mrs. Cormier enjoyed bowling and playing Bingo, and was a member of Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix parish. She is survived by her husband, Calixte; three daughters: Monique (Guy) Gaudet of Memramcook, Gisele (Pat) Cameron of Moncton and Debbie Penney of Truro, NS; three sisters: Viola (Clarence) Breau of Moncton, Claudette (Don) LeBlanc of St.-Antoine and Berthe Melanson of Bouctouche; two brothers: Zéphir Melanson of St.-Antoine and Alcide (Viola) Melanson of Bouctouche; three step-brothers: Paul (Bernice) Melanson, Vincent Melanson and Roger Melanson, all three of St.- Damien; four grandchildren: Janelle, Taylor, Chelsea and Brandon as well as several nieces and nephew. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her stepmother, Imelda Melanson and also by one brother, Raoul. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901), on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 2 pm until time of service. Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, December 21st 2009 at 3 pm. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Parish Cemetery, Notre-Dame, NB.
