VAUGHN BRIAN FENTON

FENTON, VAUGHN BRIAN - 1950-2009 - Vaughn Brian Fenton, 59, of Albert Mines passed away peacefully on December 19th, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital with his loving family by his side. Vaughn was born in Edgett's Landing on May 1, 1950 the son of the late Charles Fenton and Doris (Smith) Fenton of Hillsborough. Vaughn worked for the CN until his retirement. He was an avid hunter, he was very comfortable in the woods, he could track anything. He was also known for his great sense of humour, whenever he was around you could always count on him being up to something. Once you met Vaughn you would never forget him, he loved to tease and get people going. He loved to have a good time and cherished all the time spent with his family and friends. Vaughn was the organizer of all the social events he would make the plans for all the get togethers for his family and friends. He also was known for his great barbeques. He was very proud of his grandchildren and they held a very special place in his heart. He will be remembered for his hearty laugh and for his big smile. He would want all the people who knew him to think back on all the good times they had together and have a laugh or two. "When a loved one becomes a memory. A memory becomes a treasure. Treasure the memories." He will be deeply missed by his mother, Doris Fenton; loving wife, Susan (Steeves) Fenton; his son, Craig Fenton of Albert Mines; precious grandchildren, Cody and Macayla; brothers, Wilfred Fenton (Helen) of Riverside-Albert, Jerry Fenton (Sandra) of Orilla, Ont. and Mike Fenton (Amy) of Albert Mines; his sisters, Kathy Edson (Art) of Riverview and Marilyn Patterson (Bob) of Hopewell Cape. He will also be sadly missed by all of Susan's family and by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many good friends. He was predeceased by his father, Charles; brother, Roy Fenton and sister, Helen McDuff. Honouring Vaughn's own wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will take place at the Albert County Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 2:00pm with Pastor Leonard Geldart officiating. Interment will be held in the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing at a later date. No flowers please, donations to the Green Hill Cemetery or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
