MELANSON, NORMAND - Normand Melanson of Belliveau Village passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 69. Born on July 8, 1940 in Old Shediac Rd, Memramcook. he was the son of the late Leo Melanson and the late Melanie Allain. He worked as Dry Wall Installer and was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pre-D'en-Haut. He was known for his hard work, his faith and his courage. He is survived by his wife Rita; one son Ricky (Cindy) of Memramcook; five sisters, Huberte (Gerard) Richard of Dieppe, Yvonniste (Guy) Boudreau and Lorraine (Alphie) Fagan both of Waltham, Aline (Emery) Landry of Moncton and Marie (Camille) Bourque of Dieppe; one brother, Laurie (Therese) of Waltham; one granddaughter Shanon; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Adrien. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday December 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, December 22 from 2 to 3:20 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pre-D'en-Haut on Tuesday, December 22 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
