CLARE, KATHRYN JOAN - 1940-2009 - Kathryn Joan Clare, 69, of Wood Point passed away peacefully in the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by her family on December 29, 2009. Born in Glace Bay, NS on February 24, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Margaret (Steele) Clare. Joan spent most of her life in Sackville, NB. She loved to feed and watch the birds outside her window and her beloved cats. She was loved and will be missed by all. Joan is survived by three sisters, Ina, Clara (Allen) Pegg, Carol (Clinton) Sullivan; brothers, Roy (Madelyn), Wesley (Margaret), Jack (Ann); sisters-in-law, Shirley and Linda; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Gordon, Ronald, and James. Joan's remains have been entrusted into the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (364-1300).
