EMMA MARIE HOPPER
HOPPER, EMMA MARIE - 79, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Emma, born December 13, 1930 in Little River was a daughter of the late John and Louise (Carson) Geldart. She was a member of the Five Points Baptist Church and the Monday Morning Merry Makers. Emma enjoyed baking, knitting and making crafts. She will be missed by her children Linda Tracy (Jake) of Birch Ridge, Heather Voutour (Peter) of Colpitts Settlement, Beverley Black (Gregory) of Fredericton, Keith (Leslie) of Colpitts Settlement, Sandra Ytsma (Harold) of Chatham, ON and Dale of Salisbury; grandchildren Jeffrey, Donald, Andrea, Adam, Erin, Amanda, Kelly and C.J.; great granddaughter Abiligail, step great grandchildren Hope and Max; 3 sisters Laura Russell, Rosie Burgess and Olive McFarlane and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Charles E. Hopper, daughter Judy, grandson Dennis Hopper, 3 brothers Frank, Clarence and Lloyd and sister Ruby Proctor. Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday, December 31, 2009 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and from where the funeral will be held Friday, January 1, 2010 at 2:30 pm with Pastor Vincent Burgess officiating and interment at Nixon Cemetery.
