Passed away suddenly at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, Mary Elizabeth Crotty, aged 83 years. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Florence Terry, brothers Leo and Jim and sister Madeline O’Grady. Leaving to mourn her husband Michael; daughters: Mary Messner (Michael), Geraldine Fleming (James), Jean Mercer (Dave), Joanne Willett (Norman Petten), Elizabeth Chafe (Doug Roberts) and Carol-Anne Lutz (Jeff). Also lovingly remembered by her eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters: Kay Cromwell (Frank) and Jean Whiteway (Harold); special nieces Florence and Denise and other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, St. John’s, NL. Visitation Thursday, February 25, 5-9 p.m. and Friday, February 26, 12 - 4 p.m. and 6 -9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Sturday, February 27 at 1 p.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
