(1922-2010)– Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, George Douglas Noseworthy of Whitbourne, age 87 years. He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Martha, five brothers, five sisters, and his granddaughter Patti Lynn Noonan. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy (Piercey), sons: Wayne (Anita), Bob (Dale) and Don (Geraldine); grandchildren: Michelle (Dwayne Blackwood), Heather (Ron Kinsella), Chris Noonan, Michael and Nicholas Noseworthy; great-grandchildren: Jordan, Matthew and Kaiden; brother: Gordon (Minnie); sisters-in-law Mary (Ed- deceased), Gwen (Ted- deceased), Bessie Francis (Freeman- deceased), and a large number of relatives and close friends. Resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation will be Thursday, February 25, 10:00 am -12:00 pm, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Friday, February 26, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne at 2:00 pm, on Friday, February 26, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. John the Baptist Cemetery Fund, Whitbourne.
