Rachel Annette Curry, 81, a resident of Harbourstone Enhanced Care, formerly of Ashby Road, Sydney, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Harbourstone.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Strangis.
Rachel was a member of St. Theresa parish and was formerly employed as a clerk at Shaw and Co-op grocery stores.
Surviving are her husband, Michael and sister, Rose Spencer, Edmonton, Alta.
Rachel was predeceased by her sister, Jennie and brothers, John and Frankie.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place at Resurrection Cemetery on Tuesday 2 p.m., with Rev. James Oliver officiating.
