NELSON, Lillian Frances, 101, Surf Lodge Nursing Home, Lockeport, formerly of Sable River, passed away in Surf Lodge Nursing Home Sunday, February 21, 2010. Lillian was a very special lady who enjoyed nature and walking on the beaches. She was an avid traveller and loved the family picnics. She is survived by grandson, Tom Jr. as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her only son, Tom Sr. of whom she missed tremendously over the years. She was also predeceased by brothers, Hilton and Douglas; sisters, Shirley, Peg, Delilah, Aileen, Violet and Pauline. The body has been cremated under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. A private family committal will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Sable River United Baptist Church. A special thank you to the staff at Surf Lodge for their wonderful care of Lillian, as well as Dr. David Wilson and Dr. Mark Riley.
