JACQUARD-COTTREAU, Mary Delia (LeBlanc) – 86, Yarmouth, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2010 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, with her children at her side. Born December 10, 1923 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late William Surette and Rose Delima LeBlanc. She was a lab worker at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She is survived by James L. “Jim” (Elaine) Jacquard, Melbourne; Raymond P. Jacquard, Yarmouth; Mildred (George) Deveau-Hubbard, Hubbard’s Point; grandchildren, Randy, Coleen, Chris, Simone, Peter; several great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Lester Jacquard, as well as by her second husband, Michael Cottreau; brothers, Eli Surette and Steven Surette, and a sister, Rose Susan (Norman) Clements. Visitation took place from 7 to 9 Tuesday evening, with prayers at 8 p.m. The funeral mass was held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 24 from Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father John MacPherson officiated. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. It was requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
