Mathew Steiner, formerly of Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully in Regina on March 2, 2010 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his parents; four brothers, Carl, Florian, Werner, and Bill; one sister Everetta, and brothers-in-law Paul, August and Ed; he leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 65 years, Eileen; two sons, Bryan (Joanne) of Regina, and Glenn (Kathy) of St. Albert, AB; six grandchildren, Evan, Darren (Katrina), and Troy all of Regina, Scott (Cheri), and Megan of Edmonton, and Ryan of Calgary; brother Daniel (Terry) Steiner of Humboldt; three sisters, Louise (Paul) Bosher of Englefeld, Leonilla Fischer of Kamsack, and Armella Reiter of Medicine Hat and sisters-in-law, Eileen, Carol and Katherine. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan St., Moose Jaw on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Father Carlos Jimenez will preside. Memorialization will follow at Prairie Memorial Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917 Albert St., Regina, would be appreciated.
