Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, in his 96th year. Predeceased by his wife Pearl, April 18, 1990 and son Gerald, December 2, 1998. Leaving to celebrate his life are his daughter Julia (Chaker Hobeika); sons: Charles (Marjorie) and Eric (Rosalind); daughter-in-law Sandy; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl, on Thursday, March 4th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from the Church of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive, Mt. Pearl on Friday, March 5th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit.
