Sept. 19th, 1927 - March 4th, 2010. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, at Glenbrook Lodge, after a lengthy illness and struggle with Parkinsons Disease. Predeceased by her husband Marmaduke in 1989, her sister Myrtle Hoyles and her brothers Warren, Lewis and Arthur Trimm. To be forever missed and loved by hew twin daughters: Judy (Brian) and Janet (Dave); one son Glenn; four grandchildren: Tammy (Mark) Snow, Nova Scotia, Brian (Karen) and Chesley and Stephen Brown, St. John’s; great-grandchildren: Joshua and Jayden Snow, Nova Scotia and Tyler Parsons; also three sisters: Myra Somerton, Bell Island, Verinna (Harold) Ellis, Hants Hr., and Mildred Mossman, Nova Scotia; four brothers: Lindo (Vicki), Howard (Robie), Lester (Jackie), Trinity Bay and Whitney (Elsie), Nova Scotia; Mom will also be missed by her special sister-in-law Marion Trimm, Toronto and special friends Pauline Hillier, and Bob and Jean Fillier. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, both in St. John’s and Trinity Bay. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, March 5th, 2010 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 6th, 2010 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Visitation will then resume at Green’s Funeral Home, Winterton on Sunday, March 7th, 2010 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the United Church, Hant’s Harbour, Trinity Bay. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, New Chelsea.
