Harbour Grace, N.L./Sydney Margaret passed away peacefully on Jan. 2, 2009, in Sydney. Beloved aunt of Jane (Andrews) (Joey) George; special nephew, David (Faye) Andrews, Harbour Grace; great-aunt to Kate George, Calgary, Peter George, Harbour Grace. Also leaving to mourn, her sister, Edith Splane, Calgary; and extended Andrews family in St. John's and Calgary; as well as her special grandson, Terry Noseworthy. Besides her parents, George and Louise Andrews, Margie was predeceased by her husband, Theodore Noseworthy (July 2008), brothers, Ralph Andrews, Lloyd Andrews, RN, Stephen Andrews, WNSR, and sister, Dorothy (Andrews) Pearce; also special sister-in-law, Doris (Babb) Andrews. Margie will be remembered for her love of sports, especially tennis which she nutured in Harbour Grace. As a testament to her commitment to the sport she was inducted in the Newfoundland Tennis Hall of Fame in 1990 as a player. The family wish to extend their gratitude to Barbie and Maurice Tobin and Bob and Lin Ryan of Sydney for their many kindnesses to Margie. Visitation will take place at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace, Jan. 8, 2009, from 2-5 p.m. and 7:30-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at St. Paul's Church, Harbour Grace. Family interment at St. Paul's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Restoration Fund, St. Paul's Church, Cochrane Street, Harbour Grace, N.L., A0A 2M0.
