– (June 13, 1921 - March 7, 2010). Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on March 7, 2010, after a short illness, Anna Mary Ryan (nee Henderson, Scotland), aged 88 of Mount Pearl, formerly of the Goulds and Markland. Predeceased by her husband Abe, son Ern and daughter-in-law Patsy, her parents and six siblings in Scotland. Leaving to mourn are her son Frank (Eunice); daughter Lena (Derrick Blundon); grandchildren: Lee, Darrin, Connie (Lockyer), Geoffrey and Glen Ryan and Scott and Keith (Blundon); twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother William in Scotland; sister-in-law Sophie Ryan; special friend Lily Piercey; a number of nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will take place on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. from Barrett’s Chapel with interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
