Passed away suddenly at her home in Inuvik, N.W.T. on Friday, March 5, 2010, Elizabeth (Betty) Waye (nee Burke), age 45 years. Left with fond and loving memories are her devoted husband, Calvin, and her three children: Chantel, Tyler and Jordan. Cherished daughter of Mike and Jessie Burke (Witless Bay,NL), she will also be lovingly remembered by her three sisters: Michelle (Nawaz), Sandra (Ian), Nancy and her brother Rick (Sandra), her dear nieces and nephews, Brandon, Justina, Baasil, and newborn Michael, her parents-in-law Ben Waye (Greenwood, N.S.), Gladys Waye (Catalina-Port Union, NL), brothers-in-law: Raymond (Cindy), Johnny (Carol), Gilbert, & sister-in-law Debbie (Derm) O'Neill. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends in Wabush, Goose Bay, Nova Scotia, P.E.I., & Inuvik, N.W.T. She will be resting at Atlantic Funeral Home in Dartmouth, N.S. on Friday, March 12. Funeral to take place from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Dartmouth, N.S. at a date to be announced.
