The death of Geraldine Lois Childs, loving wife of Joseph Childs occurred on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Sussex on July 2, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Harold Anningson and Jean (Jack Burnham). Besides her husband Joseph, she is survived by sons Daniel (Wanda); Corey (Patty); Bret (Lynn); a daughter Karalee (Peter) Hopey; a sister Rae (Wayne) Ruttle; grandchildren Jessica, Christopher, Jillian, Evan, and Ethan. Besides her parents Geraldine was predeceased by a brother Ronald.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424), visiting hours will be held Monday, March 15, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 16 at 1:30 p.m. from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the N.B.
