Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, August 22, 2008, Elizabeth Ann Pike of Harbour Grace, age 55 years. Predeceased by father: Gerald Eugene Pike; parents-in-law: Donald and Helen Pike; brothers-in-law: Alec Pinhorn and Clayton Sharpe. Leaving to mourn, husband: Laurence; daughter: Lori (Andy) McDade, Brooklyn, N.S.; son: Gerald, Mt. Uniacke, N.S.; two grandchildren: Dustin and Amy; mother: Gladys Pike, Luxury Estates, Carbonear; two brothers: Wade (Linda) Pike, Summerside, P.E.I. and Brian (Karen) Pike, Lewisporte; two sisters: Catherine Sharpe, Upper Island Cove and Linda (Jellico) Gosse, Tilton; three brothers-in-law: James (Anie) Pike, Paul (Carmel) Pike and Hubert Pike, all of Harbour Grace; five sisters-in-law: Donna Pinhorn, Carbonear, Grace-Ann (Quinton) Shave, Fort McMurray, AB, Carol (Silas) Green, AB, Bonnie (Peter) Crocker and Susan Pike, both of Harbour Grace; special friend: Florence 'Rita' Connors, Lower Sackville, N.S.; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace after 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 23. Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 25 at 2 p.m. from Coughlan United Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Daffodil Place, St. John's. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 5 p.m., 7 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
