As you lay in a meadow, up on a hill
Framed by forest and ocean, overlooking Stephenville.
I reflect on how we have been graced
Since the inception of your existence.
The wind seems to gust but vacuously in your absence.
I find solace in the perpetuation of your essence
Within the posterity you have bestowed upon this land.
We dearly miss you still.
