67, Glace Bay/Sydney Mary 'Moe' MacDonnell, nee Shaw, 67, passed away at the Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility, Sydney, Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009. Born in Glace Bay, 'Moe' was the daughter of the late Ryan and Margaret Shaw. She was predeceased by siblings, James 'Jimmy' Shaw and Catherine 'Kwee' MacIsaac, New York. 'Moe' is survived by a daughter, Carrie Lee Grant, Toronto; sister, Margaret 'Maga' McNeil, New Waterford; and brother, John Shaw, Glace Bay. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at St. Anne's Parish Church, Glace Bay, at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009.
