HAWCO, Joseph– Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, March 18th, 2010, after a lengthy battle with dementia, Joseph Hawco, age 75 years. Leaving to mourn his wife of 50 years, Marie (Voisey); five sons: Wayne (Cindy), Joseph, Bill, Brian (Lindsay), Douglas (Chlista), Halifax, Nova Scotia; two daughters: Valerie (Mark) and Joanne; eleven grandchildren: Kimberley Ann, Chris, Jonathon, Katie, Ashlee, Jason, Jeffrey, Allison, Robin, Joey and Sarah, and great-granddaughter Heidi, as well as many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his mother Bridgette, father Anthony and his brothers and sisters. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday, March 18th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday, March 19th from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 20th at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
