HUNT, Robert A.— Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, March 19, 2010, Robert A. Hunt of Carbonear, age 85 years. Predeceased by infant daughter: Nita; parents: Cator and Hilda; sister: Nita; brother: Earl Ralph. Leaving to mourn, wife: Betsy ‘Betty’; four daughters: Lydia (Bert) Downing, Harbour Grace, Eleanor (David) Evely and Nita Hunt, both of Carbonear and Maxine (Barry) Tessier, Toronto; three sons: Chesley (Heather), Carbonear, Robert (Shirley), St. John’s and Roger (Rebecca), Australia; 10 grandchildren: Janet (Rodney), Heather, Blair (Kayla), Craig (Lynn), Robbie (Sarah), Krista, Mason, Christopher, Tyler and Cator; four great-grandchildren: Jacob, Erica, Jayden and Ethan; brother-in-law: Chesley Abbott, Gander; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear.
