1946 - 2010 - Early in the morning of March 21, 2010, Carolyn Faye Fraser (nee Pyne) passed away peacefully at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton after a lengthy illness. Carolyn was born in Fredericton, NB in 1946, the daughter of Aletha Underhill (nee McMannus) and the late Hayward Pyne. She lived her latter years in Riverview, NB. Carolyn worked for several years at the old Victoria Public Hospital in Fredericton before launching a new career in payroll administration. She loved to bake and was very fond of family outings. Good times and laughter followed her wherever she went. She will sorely be missed by all, but loving memories of her will remain with us forever. Survived by her spouse Felix White, her mother Aletha, son, Roger Fraser (Katari) and daughter, Brenda Fraser, step daughter Sarah White, siblings Larry Pyne (Darlene), Linda Gilmore, Diane Lee (Gary), Loretta Munn (Wendell), grandchildren Allisha and Emily Fraser, step grandchildren Emily and Hannah Mitchell as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at Carolyn’s request. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 25th, 2010 at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations in Carolyn’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Society.
