It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Petten announce her sudden passing on Monday, March 22nd, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 65. Margaret was born May 21, 1944 in Seal Cove Conception Bay South. She leaves to mourn her husband of 47 years Harold Petten, children: Charles Petten (Lori), Jeff Petten (Janice), Terry Petten (Louise), Mike Petten (Michelle Power), grandchildren: Jeffery Petten, Nikki Petten, Meghan Petten, Jonathan Petten, Sarah Dove, David Dove, Stephanie Boland, Andrew Boland, Abigail Power-Petten; great grandchildren Madison & Ryan Boland; brothers: Abe Morgan (Mildred), Don Morgan (Margaret), Cecil Morgan (Lorraine), Gerald Morgan (Judy), George Morgan (Ruby), Darrell Morgan (Kim); sisters: Ruby Johnson (Jerome), Francis Johnson, Susan Morgan as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Eddie John & Harriett Morgan, sister Darlene Morgan, mother & father-in-law Charles and Mary Petten, sister-in-law Ina Bishop (Reg), niece Tracey Morgan. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 25th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Curling Street, Reverend Karen Laldin officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
