It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Harding announce his passing on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010 at the W.M.R.Hospital in his 80th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Edith (nee Maynard). His four daughters, Betty (Milton) Sparkes of Montreal, Donna Harding, Debbie Harding both of Deer Lake and Margaret (Kevin) Crawley of Oxford Mills, Ontario. Six grandchildren: Lisa, Angela, Laura, Cassidy, Sydney and Christopher. His brothers, Tom (Olive), Milton (Judy), Don (Rosemon), and Wayne (Gabrielle). Four sisters Shirley (Robert) Kennedy, Harriett (Adrian) French, Bertha Sparkes and Elizabeth Maynard. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents George & Maude and sisters Margaret and Mabel. A memorial service will take place from the Church of The Good Sheppard in Norris Point on Friday at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Olsson officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
