The passing of Gertrude Marion Savage of Fredericton occurred on Wednesday, March 24th 2010 at the York Manor Nursing Home. She was 89. Born in Barker’s Point, N.B., she is the daughter of the late Fred and Annie (Shields) Savage. Survived by her brother Royden and wife Hilda of Fredericton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by two brothers Myles and Freddie as well as two sisters Arlene McFawn and Lorraine Stennick.
Although there will be no visitation, a graveside committal service will take place in the Sunny Bank Cemetery in the spring with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating.
