Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at the Palliative Care L.A. Miller Centre on Thursday, March 25, 2010, of Long Pond, age 72 yrs. Predeceased by son Edward and daughter Cathy. Leaving to mourn is wife of 51 yrs. Mary (nee Norris), children Jeanie Rideout (Harry), Teresa Guay (Denis), David (Patti); six grandchildren: Wes and Mick, Ryan and Matthew, Ashley and Kayla; five brother: Joe, Charles (Freda), Frank (Geraldine), Ron (Sadie), Bren (Phyllis); two sisters: Marg Farrell (Ed) and Rose. Also, nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews, on Friday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas of Villa Nova Church, Manuels on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the R.C.
