Passed peacefully away at Interfaith Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, Mrs. Gertrude Delaney of Otterbury, aged 91 years. Predeceased by parents Peter and Bridget Quinlan (nee Curnew), husband Michael Delaney, brothers Peter (Loretta) Quinlan, Francis Quinlan, Bernard Quinlan, Raphel (Monica) Quinlan, John (Angela) Quinlan, brother-in-law Gus Dicks. Leaving to mourn sons: Francis (Nancy), Vincent (Michelle), Jerome (Bonnie); daughters: Anita (Eric), Florence (Bill), Mary (Fred), Eileen (Paul), Marie; sisters: Margaret (Bill) Hammond, Kathleen Dicks; sisters-in-law Rita Quinlan, Agnes Quinlan; sixteen grandchildren: Stephanie, John, Paul, Lisa, Jennifer, Brian, Dana, Ryan, Justan, Jordan, Jeremy, Megan, Krista, Michael, Celine, Christopher; four great-grandchildren: Brianna, Cassandra, Cole, Grace and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach. Visitation Wednesday 2-10 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, April 02, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. from All Hallows Roman Catholic Church, North River. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, North River. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 7 p.m. from All Hallows Roman Catholic Church, North River.
