Passed gently from his earthly bonds in the presence of his brother, niece and grand-niece at St. Clare's Hospital on March 30, 2010. Formerly of Avondale, age 78 years. Predeceased by his parents, Dominic & Mary-Bridget, his brother Ned and sisters, Nellie & Catherine. Left with fondest memories are his brother and best friend, Dominic and special niece, Judy Rotchford (Joe) and family, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends especially the residents, management & staff of Woodford's Comfort Manor, Holyrood where he resided for the past several years. Resting at Conway's Funeral Home, Conception Harbour with visitation on Thursday, April 01 and Friday, April 02 from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Assumption Church, Avondale on Saturday, April 03 at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Avondale.
