85, Granville Ferry Anne MacDonald, 85, passed away in Northhills Nursing Home, Granville Ferry, N.S., on Feb. 1, 2009. Anne was born in Whitney Pier, and was the daughter of the late Neil and Annie (Morrison) MacDonald. She was a registered nurse and worked in Montreal, California, Sydney and Halifax. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Margaret Wilson, Evelyn, Kaye MacKillop and Raye, brothers, Peter and John Allan (in infancy). She was the last surviving member of her family. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held in Sydney at a later date.
