The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Thursday, March 12, 2009, of Clair “Allan” Rogers of Charlottetown and formerly of St. Eleanors, P.E.I., aged 62 years. Allan was born on Feb. 10, 1947, in St. Eleanors, P.E.I. to his late parents, Wendell and Mary (nee MacDonald) Rogers. Survived by his partner in love, Jacqueline O’Brien (nee Bradley), and her family. Loving father of Chad of Toronto, Ont., Casey of Kentville, N.S., and Becky of Ottawa, Ont., and their mother, Eileen Rogers of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his sisters, Debbie Comeau of Chipman, N.B., and Alice (Royce) Getson of Greenfield, N.S., and his brother Brian (Su) Rogers of Summerside. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd, Summerside, until Tuesday, March 17 where the Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. . Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service. Memorial donations in Allan’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
