Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, March 12th, 2009, Cole Parsons of Green’s Harbour, aged 94 years. Predeceased by his previous wife Peggy, Scotland. He leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories; his wife Winnie (nee Rowe); stepson Nelson (Joyce) Simmons; two grandchildren, Judy (Raif) Murray, and Don (Gale) Simmons; and two great-grandchildren, Jaden and Katherine Murray. He is also lovingly remembered by sister-in-law, Kathleen Parsons; brother-in-law Alec Rowe; a number of nephews, nieces, and family in Botwood, as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Faith United Church in Green’s Harbour on Saturday, March 14th
from 7-9 p.m., and on Sunday, March 15th from 2-4 p.m. and from 7- 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Faith United Church on Monday, March 16th at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Faith United Church Cemetery.
