Passed peacefully away at the A.M. Guy Memorial Hospital, Buchans, on March 8, 2009, Bessie A. Hennessey, age 94 years. Predeceased by her parents Francis Gates and Annie (Mews) Gates, husband William Hennessey, son Douglas, granddaughter Debbie Stone, sisters Lucy, Agnes, Lydia, brother Willis. Left with loving memories are son Jack (Shirley) Hennessey of Buchans, daughters Jean (Hayward) Stone of Upper Gullies, C.B.S., Flora (Edward) Trickett of Buchans, Margaret (Earle) Pike of Wolfville, N.S;, sisters Margaret of Toronto, Ruth of Summerford, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; also a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral service took place Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Anglican Church, Buchans. Interment Anglican Cemetery, Buchans.
