TUCKER, Rita Agnes (nee Mitchell)- Passed peacefully away on Thursday, March 12th, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre, our loving mother Rita Tucker, aged 69 years. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Tucker and mother Mary Mitchell. Left to mourn her sons: Gerard, Douglas and Cyril and daughters Cathy, Marjorie and Colleen. Loving brother and best friend William Mitchell (Marie), special aunt Josephine Somerton and granddaughter Jolene, special brother and sister-in-law Henry and Mary Tucker and loving and dearest friend Philip Lawlor, 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Visitation from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral Mass to take place from Holy Rosary Parish, Portugal Cove on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
