Walter Daniel Wall, 97, of Tatamagouche passed away at the Willow Lodge for Special Care, Tatamagouche, on Saturday, March 14, 2009.
Born in East New Annan, he was the son of the late David and Annie (Shearer) Wall.
Walter is survived by sons Ronald (Grace), East Earltown; Carl (Flora), Tatamagouche; Alvin (Inis), Earltown; Ross (Anne), Hilden; Murray, The Falls; John, Tatamagouche; George (Brenda), Alberta; Sterling, Tatamagouche; daughter Muriel (Henry) Fraser, Tatamagouche; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Lillian, sons Douglas and Guy, daughter Catherine and three children in infancy.
No visitation by his request. A graveside service and burial will be held in the spring at Tatamagouche Mountain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donation in Walter’s memory may be made to the Tatamagouche Mountain Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MacLeod’s Funeral Home, River John.
