The death of Dorothy Katherine MacLeod, occurred in Toronto on March 6, 2009.
Born Nov. 23, 1926, she was the daughter of Gregor and Mary MacLeod, of Stellarton.
Dorothy grew up and attended school in Stellarton, moving to Toronto to become a professional nanny, and these families became her family.
Dorothy is survived by her siblings: Robert, Toronto; Fred, Alberta; Peter, Dartmouth; Betty, Woodburn; and Joyce, Meadow Lake, Sask.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Dan and Watson; and her sister, Margaret.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date with interment in Brookside Cemetery with her parents.
