MR. LOUIS RISHCHYNSKI
July 24, 1937 – March 12, 2009
It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Louis Rishchynski who passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the age of 71 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Allan (Sherry), Ray (Liza), Kathy (Ed); his grandchildren Casey (Ian), Sarah (Curtis) Jonrian, Patrick, Charley, Gabriel, Dylan, Daryn, Rebecca and Jonathan and 1 great-grandchild Blake as well as 1 brother and 3 sisters. He was predeceased by his loving wife Jackie, his parents William and Pauline and his sister Mary. Louis enjoyed maintaining all his family and friends’ homes and businesses, but he was never too busy to stop and chat. There were very few things he couldn’t fix or make. He had many hobbies but his family Sunday suppers were always a priority. Special thanks to the staff at Harold’s, My Pharmacy and Parkland Ambulance for being a part of his extended family. In lieu of flowers and other tributes a donation can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Victoria Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 18 from Calvary United Church – 114-25th Street East. Valerie Bodnaryk will officiate. Interment of cremated remains will take place in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may send email condolences to www.riverparkfuneral.ca.
