The death occurred at her late residence on Sunday, March 15th, 2009 of Laurie Elizabeth MacTaggart (nee Foster) of Travellers Rest, P.E.I., aged 78 years. Laurie was born on July 4th, 1930 in Amherst, N.S., to her late parents Archibald & Laura (nee Williston) Foster. Beloved wife of John MacTaggart & loving mother of Terry (Louise) of Travellers Rest & John (Seble) of Maple, Ont. Also lovingly remembered by her 6 grandchildren Scott, Rachell (Chris) Willcock, John Ryan, Nathan, Matty & Noah. Besides her parents, Laurie was predeceased by her sister Eleanor Noiles. By personal request there will be no funeral service held. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday evening only, 7-9 p.m. A Committal Service will take place at People’s Cemetery, Summerside at a later date.
