Royal Navy WWII. It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Angus Pardy, age 89 years, at the Health Sciences Complex on Sunday, March 15, 2009. Predeceased by his wife of 62 years Myra (March 2008). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughter Rose Strange (Tom) of Mount Pearl; grandson Gregory Strange (Allison) of Bedford, Nova Scotia; two loving great-grandchildren: Hannah and Joshua; brothers: Ambrose (Myrtle) of Corner Brook and Arthur (Annie) of Halifax, Nova Scotia; sisters-in-law: Grace Butterworth (Fred) of St. John’s and Frances Butt (Gil) of Mount Pearl and a large circle of special nieces, nephews and friends. Thank you to all his care-givers and friends at V.O.N. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, March 17 from 7-9 and Wednesday, March 18 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Field of Honor, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. No flowers by request.
