It is with great sadness the family of Lois MacPhee announce her sudden passing March 16, 2009, at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in and raised in Riverton, she was the daughter of the late Martha (Reid) and Louis Livingstone.
Lois loved her family and was the glue that held it all together. She liked to play cards and bingo. Lois will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters: Heather (Doug) Bushulak, Alta.; Kathy MacKenzie, Trenton; Marlene (Vernon) MacGrath, Broadway; Barb Miller (Joby), Telford; Michelle (Joey) Gerrior, Trenton; sons, David MacPhee, Alta.; Gordon (Terri) MacPhee, Trenton; son-in-law, Don Miller, Stellarton; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Patty (Don) Chester, New Glasgow; brothers, Billy Livingstone, Walkerville; Bertie (Carolyn) Livingstone, MacLellan’s Brook; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold; daughter, Jessie; grandson, Raymond; brothers: George, Buster, Raymond and Bob.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation at the request of the deceased. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009, in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow. Burial will be in Telford Cemetery at a later date.
No flowers by request, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
